On behalf of the ITU Arab Regional Cybersecurity Centre (ITU-ARCC), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Egyptian National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), in cooperation with Nispana Innovation Platforms, are pleased to invite you to participate in the fifth Regional Cyber Security Summit which will be held in Sharm El Shiekh, Egypt from 30th October to 1st November 2016, and will be followed immediately by FIRST Arab and African Regional Symposium for two days from 2nd to 3rd November 2016.
The Regional Cyber Security Summit comes this year with the theme of “Boundless Collaboration, Boundless Protection”. It focuses on the cooperation in cybersecurity as one of the key pillars to tackle the complexity and the scalability of the main challenges of today’s cyber threats. The summit aims to connect public, private and academic sectors with the main purpose of providing an appropriate platform for up to 300 senior ICT and cyber security officials from the Arab and African regions to discuss, formulate strategic directions and plans to tackle emerging threats to the global and regional Security sector.
The summit also provides a platform to network with well-known organizations such as FIRST, OIC-CERT, AfricaCERT and AICTO and other decision makers & government authorities from more than 57 countries. The premium 3 days summit will also host and engage the most promising and emerging global firms across critical national Infrastructure sectors including: Energy & Utilities, Defence & Aviation, Financial Institutions, Hospitality, Healthcare, Manufacturing and government institutions and authorities.

Transport to and from the airport, event venue and Grand Rotana Hotel, and to all social events back to the hotels can be provided. You need to email your Itinerary (by October 24th)



Special rates have been negotiated with another hotel close to the event venue for the Event participants. Grand Rotana distance within a 7.5 kilometer of the Hyatt Regency, and are also a short distance from Sharm el-Sheikh Airport.

Security and access to the event premises

Access to the official event premises within the Hyatt Regency Center will be strictly limited to persons wearing an event badge.
Participants are advised that all delegates, observers, media representatives, Host Country Secretariat staff, and all technical and support staff of the Center, will only be admitted to the event premises upon presentation of this badge.
All participants will be security screened at access points to the Center, similar to security controls found at airports.
All participants will also have their event badge scanned at these access points. It is recommended that participants coming to the Center limit their hand luggage to one small brief case. Anything larger than cabin luggage will not be permitted inside the event premises.
Participants are reminded to safeguard their personal belongings at all times while in the event premises and their hotel area.
All lost and found inquiries can be addressed to the NTRA Security Team at the Event Security Office located inside Hyatt Regency.
